Questions people ask
Does this app turn VoLTE on?
No, and nothing on the handset side can. VoLTE is enabled by your carrier for your account and your exact device model. The app reads what your phone and network report and tells you which of those is missing, which is the information you need when you contact the carrier.
What does “IMS not registered” mean?
Your phone has not attached to the carrier's voice system, so VoLTE, Wi‑Fi calling and VoNR cannot work. It is almost always carrier provisioning or your model not being on their approved list, rather than a setting you can change.
Why does it say my phone does not support VoLTE when it does?
Report it. The app reads the device's own telephony state, and a wrong answer is a bug worth fixing rather than something to work around — send your model and Android version to support@rank9labs.com.
Does it work on dual‑SIM phones?
Yes. It reports per‑SIM status, because provisioning is per‑account: the same handset can register on one SIM and not the other.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Everything it reports is read from the device. A connection is only used to load ads.
Is my data sent anywhere?
The readings stay on the phone. There is no account and no server of ours. The ad and crash‑reporting libraries collect what their policies describe, and the full policy is linked from the listing.
